Dennae taught me how to start a new post on the blog site. Thanks... I'm learning something new every day.
I have been trying to "let Judah (praise) go first" as I mentioned in an earlier blog. It is a decision we need to make every day....sometimes more often!!!
I pray for an attitude of gratitude every day.
Ran into an old friend today. Her oldest daughter has chosen an alternative lifestyle and she is grieving. She loves her, but her daughter refuses to see her. I tried to encourage her (it must be so hard)...I plan on getting together with her soon. I had her two younger children in school years ago.
I am going to get into reading "Captivating". Chris and Dennae and Roxana have been encouraging me to read it. I started it, but didn't get into it yet.
I'm having a brunch for several women from church on Saturday morning. We were going to go out but none of the restaurants around here have Brunch on Saturday. So, my wonderful husband offered to make eggs to order or pancakes. I made zucchini bread and we'll have mock mimosas and sit out on the deck and swim and use the hot tub after. Should be a lovely time.
God has given me so much to be thankful for....great family, good friends and most of all - I am grateful for my relationship with Him.
Have a great day, everyone. Trust that Chris and Brent are getting a much needed time of R & R in Maui, and that Aaron and Cole are having fun in Wisconsin with Great Grandma Fooks.
